№ 0800892000

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the Old Ink stack.

Edition 800,892,000 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly pentagons, mostly tangerine. It sits in block 93,304, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The folio was found out of order. Clerk Ellis set it down in soft pencil, and the sheet shows a pin hole at the left edge.

It is folio 1000 of Elm 10, in the Quiet Walk, Old Ink stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
