The Distant Sketch

№ 0079005994

Common

Tide marks — kept in the North Clay stack.

Edition 79,005,994 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly lines, mostly cream. It sits in block 182,648, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

A later hand corrected the title. Copyist Khan set it down in iron-gall ink, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 994 of Maple 1, in the Last Gallery, North Clay stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
