№ 0438792998

Common

Bridge clearances — kept in the Upper Salt stack.

Edition 438,792,998 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly pentagons, mostly cream. It sits in block 47,278, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Someone numbered it in pencil. Proofreader Moreau set it down in a carbon copy, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 998 of Yew 10, in the Wide Range, Upper Salt stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
