The Tidal Receipt

№ 0420692007

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the Upper Brass stack.

Edition 420,692,007 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly rectangles, mostly cream. It sits in block 123,143, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

The folio was found out of order. Binder Abebe set it down in letterpress, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 7 of Yew 10, in the Quiet Vault, Upper Brass stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
