The Salt Diary

№ 0030004030

Common

Winter bird counts — kept in the North Salt stack.

Edition 30,004,030 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly lines, mostly lilac. It sits in block 129,201, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Filed without a date. Keeper Okonkwo set it down in letterpress, and the sheet shows a hairline tear at the foot.

It is folio 30 of Birch 1, in the Quiet Gallery, North Salt stack. Two witnesses disagree by a single unit.
