The Ochre Label

№ 0002000006

Common

Grain weights — kept in the North Ink stack.

Edition 2,000,006 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly pentagons, mostly rust. It sits in block 42,791, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

A later hand corrected the title. Night archivist Walsh set it down in needle pricks, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 6 of Cedar 1, in the Red Gallery, North Ink stack. The instrument was recalibrated the next morning.
