The Late Sketch

№ 0118678317

Common

Railway delays — kept in the South Paper stack.

Edition 118,678,317 of 1,000,000,000. 100 shapes, mostly pentagons, mostly teal. It sits in block 155,260, minted with that block's other 4,999 editions, scattered across the billion.

Someone numbered it in pencil. Copyist Marin set it down in a silver print, and the sheet shows fibers lifted where a label was peeled.

It is folio 317 of Hazel 8, in the Wide Vault, South Paper stack. The place-name on the slip no longer exists.
